Job Title: Process Professional
Location: Montreal, QC
Length: 6 Months (with potential extension)
Rotation: Monday - Friday
Role Summary
The Process & Digital Thread Lead plays a pivotal role within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) digital transformation program. This position drives alignment between business processes, the future PLM solution, and the cross-functional Digital Thread vision.
Operating at the intersection of process definition, architecture insight, data flow governance, and project execution, this role ensures SMEs and Process Use Case Leads are connected, informed, and supported in designing future-ready Ways of Working.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities, understands complex product information flows, and is confident shaping end-to-end processes within a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Future Processes
- Investigate and assess current Ways of Working across relevant business units.
- Learn, analyze, and interpret the new PLM360 Ways of Working.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform detailed analysis between “as-is” and “future” processes.
- Define Business Unit (BU) process requirements for the future PLM landscape.
- Support change impact assessments to ensure successful adoption.
- Collaborate closely with SMEs and Process Use Case Leads to align expectations and outcomes.
- Contribute to tool and workflow development from a process perspective.
Digital Thread
- Own and maintain Product Data Flow documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support SMEs and Process Use Case Leads by identifying and resolving emerging silos.
- Maintain visibility and consistency of end-to-end information flows across the program.
- Act as a potential custodian of the future information model, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Provide architecture-related insights, recommendations, and scenario analysis.
- Support the local project team in understanding architectural choices and implications.
- Serve as a key interface between Teamcenter and other PLM-related tools or programs.
- Champion the Digital Thread vision across engineering, operations, configuration, and supply chain functions.
Role Scope
- Drives alignment between business processes and PLM system capabilities.
- Supports enterprise-wide data flow governance and digital thread integration.
- Influences stakeholders across engineering and operational functions.
- Ensures consistency, scalability, and sustainability of process design.
- Contributes to the success of large-scale transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes or PLM systems.
- Demonstrated experience mapping, analyzing, and redesigning business processes.
- Experience working with complex product data or enterprise architecture concepts.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
- Exposure to digital thread or model-based engineering initiatives.
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or configuration management preferred.
- Familiarity with large-scale transformation programs.
