Procurement Advisor
Purpose:
We are currently seeking a Procurement Advisor on a temporary 6 month term basis to join our supply chain excellence team in achieving the lowest cost, safely and reliably, while resourcing all purchasing materials, equipment, and services.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Delivering excellence in provision of all purchasing for materials and services in support of offshore exploration, projects, corporate and operations.
  • Ensuring procurement process is focused on alignment with HSE best practice, optimization of goods and services acquisition to meet business requirements, standardization of documentation, use of automation to maximise efficiency and minimise cost, and increased service levels across all areas of operations while acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Acting as an integral part of the Corporate, Projects and International Operations function on behalf of Procurement.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational material and service requirements.
  • Monitor and manage Procurement relevant deliverables under the contract.
  • In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to be flexible and assist across portfolios and projects as needed, helping to drive value and enhance our business.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A University degree in business, finance, or other related discipline, or relevant experience in a contracts and procurement.
  • 5 years in Supply Chain, notably major offshore Oil & Gas/ Energy operations.
  • Demonstrated advanced written and oral English language proficiency.
  • Experience in procurement within ERP system, with SAP/ Ariba ideal.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously and have a keen eye for detail and data analysis.
  • A positive attitude and be a proactive person who works well with people of different backgrounds and skills.
  • Knowledge of the complete Procure to Pay process.
