Job Title: Procurement Assistant
Project: LNG Terminal Project
Location: Brunsbüttel, Germany

Role Overview
The Procurement Assistant will support the procurement activities for a large-scale LNG terminal project based in Brunsbüttel. The role will focus on the purchasing and coordination of PPE, site consumables, and general supplies to ensure uninterrupted project operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the procurement and site teams to manage orders, suppliers, and documentation in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day procurement activities for the LNG terminal project
  • Purchase PPE, tools, consumables, office supplies, and other site-related materials
  • Raise and track purchase orders in line with internal procurement procedures
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, place orders, and track deliveries
  • Ensure materials are delivered on time and to the correct site locations
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including invoices, delivery notes, and order logs
  • Support inventory control and stock monitoring for PPE and site supplies
  • Coordinate with site teams to understand material requirements and priorities
  • Assist with supplier communication and issue resolution where required
  • Ensure compliance with project, company, and HSE procurement standards
Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, or administrative support role (construction, energy, or industrial projects preferred)
  • Experience purchasing PPE and site consumables is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced project environment
Language & IT Requirements
  • Fluent German (spoken and written) — essential
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly:
    • Excel (tracking orders, basic reporting)
    • Outlook (supplier and internal communication)
    • Word (documentation and records)
