We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing and supply chain activities within a large-scale energy operation.
This role is focused on high-volume transactional procurement, ensuring materials and services are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time to support ongoing operations.
Working closely with Planning, Operations, and Logistics, you will play a key role in keeping procurement moving efficiently and accurately across SAP and Ariba systems.

This role is focused on high-volume transactional procurement, ensuring materials and services are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time to support ongoing operations.
Working closely with Planning, Operations, and Logistics, you will play a key role in keeping procurement moving efficiently and accurately across SAP and Ariba systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and manage purchase orders in SAP in line with operational demand
- Convert requisitions into purchase orders in a timely manner
- Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Expedite materials and resolve delivery delays or supply issues
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data across systems
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support material availability and priorities
- Support reporting and tracking of procurement activities
- 3–7 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Strong hands-on experience using SAP for purchasing / buying activities
- Proven experience in high-volume, transactional procurement environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Experience in energy, resources, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
- Exposure to Ariba or similar procurement systems
- Experience supporting MRO or operational procurement environments
- Basic understanding of technical materials or specifications
