Position: Project Engineer

The Project Engineer supports the Engineering Project Manager in the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring safety and compliance, and contributing to sustainable, long-term business performance.

The Project Engineer supports the Engineering Project Manager in the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring safety and compliance, and contributing to sustainable, long-term business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Project Manager in coordinating engineering activities, including deliverables, schedules, and resource planning
- Monitor and help control project timelines, budgets, and engineering work-hours
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Ensure all engineering outputs comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and industry standards
- Identify, document, and share lessons learned, with consideration of impacts across interconnected systems
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies)
- Contribute to the management of technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and project phases
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- 5–10 years' experience within a relevant engineering environment (e.g., energy, infrastructure, or process industries)
