We are now looking for a Project Engineer who wants to strengthen our Umbilical & Cable Systems team at Lysaker and be a part of the exciting journey that has just started.

 

What will you be doing?
  • Be involved in large scale subsea production system development projects across the world

  • Manage and complete assigned engineering tasks in line with OneSubsea’s procedures, client requirements and international standards

  • Contribute to the design and development of subsea umbilical systems, inclusive of umbilical cross section, topside and subsea umbilical terminations

  • Oversight and review of engineering calculations and analysis required for cross section design, end termination strength, seabed stability, corrosion protection, accumulated plastic strain, sea fastening and any other project specific requirements

  • Deliver high-quality engineering documentation on time

  • Coordinate technical information between clients, other contractors, and internal stakeholders

  • Work in a project team and cooperate with other engineering disciplines, supply chain teams, and the manufacturing site

  • Support subcontractors and suppliers with relevant technical guidance and document review

  • Identify and contribute to improvement initiatives and support a culture of continuous learning

  • Actively share knowledge and experience within the project team and across departments

  • Capture and document lessons learned to support future projects

  • Closely follow the product lifecycle of the umbilical system from early engineering to delivery from our production site in Moss

  • Have a professional background and experience that includes:

    • B.Sc or M.Sc. in a relevant engineering discipline

    • Experience in project execution and a general understanding of the energy or engineering industry

    • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as SAP or Teamcenter (advantageous)

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team

  • Can prioritize and manage tasks with minimal supervision

  • Maintain a strong focus on quality and timely delivery, even under pressure
