About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Technical Project Coordinator to support the delivery of complex engineering projects within an international environment. This role is ideal for a technically driven professional who enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing technical interfaces, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
Working closely with the Lead Project Engineer, you will play a key role throughout both the proposal and project execution phases, ensuring successful coordination of technical activities, documentation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities Proposal & Solution Development Phase As required, you will support the Lead Project Engineer in:
- Analysing technical contractual requirements, including:
- Scope of supply
- Client standards and specifications
- Applicable regulations and industry standards
- Preparing and reviewing project engineering specifications
- Contributing to technical proposal development and solution definition
- Coordinate technical aspects of assigned projects in compliance with company procedures.
- Support the management of contractual technical requirements.
- Manage and coordinate PFDs and P&IDs in collaboration with Process & Technology teams.
- Participate in the overall plant and installation design.
- Coordinate engineering activities across internal disciplines.
- Ensure technical integration and coordination of equipment packages with internal and external suppliers.
- Monitor and follow up spare parts requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist the Lead Project Engineer in project management activities.
- Contribute to the optimisation of engineering studies with respect to:
- Cost
- Schedule
- Quality
- Safety objectives
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and the client.
- Participate in the resolution of technical issues identified during project execution.
- Support the treatment of risks identified through Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA/APR).
- Contribute to risk assessment workshops and studies, including:
- HAZOP
- FMEA (AMDEC)
- ARA
- EVREX
- Follow up and monitor implementation of resulting action plans.
- Manage project technical documentation alongside the Document Control team.
- Coordinate the preparation of project technical dossiers, including:
- Construction documentation
- Commissioning packages
- Client documentation
- Verify consistency between project documentation and manufacturer documentation, including As-Built drawings.
- Ensure document traceability, change management, and confidentiality requirements are maintained.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards.
- Capture lessons learned, best practices, and non-conformities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support company knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate part of the project’s technical team.
- Deliver assigned project activities to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Make informed technical decisions and recommendations.
- Ensure lessons learned and project knowledge are effectively captured and shared.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
- Guarantee adherence to contractual technical obligations, regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Apply project quality processes and technical aspects of the Project Management Plan.
- Maintain document control, change tracking, and confidentiality of technical information.
- Address technical corrective actions resulting from project meetings, audits, and reviews.

- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation, PFDs and P&IDs.
- Knowledge of industrial project execution methodologies.
- Experience participating in risk assessments and safety reviews.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
- Fluent French and professional English (both mandatory).
- Experience within process industries, energy, oil & gas, chemicals, or industrial plant engineering.
- Familiarity with HAZOP, FMEA/AMDEC and project risk management methodologies.
- Exposure to international EPC or engineering projects.
- Drafting and validating technical documentation in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
- Providing monthly updates to the Task Allocation Matrix ("Répartition des tâches").
- Ensuring coordinated technical delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
