NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Project Management Specialist for an engineering project based in Singapore.

The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting the delivery of engineering equipment and infrastructure projects. This includes managing project schedules, supporting cost and resource planning, and contributing to overall project performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using planning tools
  • Translate work breakdown structures (WBS) and project deliverables into fully resourced schedules and demand/capacity plans
  • Perform critical path analysis, float calculations, and scenario planning
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, assembly, and testing activities into an overall master schedule
  • Track and report progress against baseline schedules, milestones, and key deliverables
  • Identify delays, risks, and variances, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions
  • Support project performance analysis and prepare dashboards and reports for stakeholders
  • Assist in balancing schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple projects
  • Support risk identification, cost tracking, and monitoring against project budgets
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in project planning, scheduling, and cost management processes
  • Participate in change management and assess impacts of scope variations on timelines and costs
  • Provide timely updates to project teams, management, and stakeholders
  • Support project review meetings with clear reporting on schedule and cost performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and vendors
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management roles
  • Experience in design engineering for oil & gas or industrial equipment (e.g. pressure systems, mechanical equipment, or similar products)
  • Experience supporting complex engineering or equipment-based projects
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Familiarity with cost control, risk management, and performance tracking
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multicultural environment
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore. Sponsorship is not available for this role
Technical Knowledge
  • Experience in engineering design, preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation
  • Ability to produce engineering drawings and models using CAD tools (2D/3D)
  • Familiarity with engineering calculations and preparation of technical or service documentation
  • General understanding of industry standards and best practices within oil & gas or energy sectors
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
  • Professional certification such as PMP® or equivalent (preferred)
  • Primavera P6 certification or advanced user experience (preferred)
