An international offshore energy company in Rotterdam is seeking an experienced senior project management professional to support its global Brownfield organization. This role focuses on providing governance, consultancy, and strategic project support across a large portfolio of offshore modification, revamp, maintenance, and decommissioning projects.
Rather than directly owning projects, the position acts as a central advisory function supporting project managers and regional program teams across multiple locations. The role plays a key part in strengthening execution performance, improving governance, reducing project risk, and ensuring consistent project management standards across the Brownfield organization.

Responsibilities
- Support offshore brownfield projects during both early development and execution phases
- Provide governance, consultancy, and strategic guidance to project managers and regional program teams
- Review project execution strategies, planning, risks, schedules, and resource approaches
- Support complex offshore modification, revamp, maintenance, and decommissioning activities on existing assets
- Advise on operational, contractual, and stakeholder-related challenges within brownfield environments
- Promote consistent project management standards, processes, and reporting across the organization
- Contribute to lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement within the brownfield portfolio
- Act as a senior escalation and support point for critical or complex projects
- Extensive experience within offshore brownfield project environments
- minimum + 10 years of experience
- Strong project management background combined with operational understanding
- Experience with offshore modifications, revamps, maintenance, or asset lifecycle projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, planning, and execution
- Able to work across multiple regions and international project teams
- Candidates with purely greenfield EPC backgrounds are less likely to be a strong fit
- Engineering degree and project management certification are advantageous
