We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – China Fabrication (PMCF) to lead all fabrication activities across multiple Chinese yards for major LNG project components (CP & LQ facilities).
This is a critical leadership role, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of offshore structures up to sailaway.

🔹 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – China Fabrication (PMCF) to lead all fabrication activities across multiple Chinese yards for major LNG project components (CP & LQ facilities).
This is a critical leadership role, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of offshore structures up to sailaway.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Act as in-country focal point for all fabrication site activities across Chinese yards
- Lead and manage multidiscipline site teams (HSE, Quality, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning)
- Ensure strict compliance with EPC contracts, company specifications, and safety standards
- Drive construction execution, schedule tracking, and risk mitigation strategies
- Review and approve:
- Fabrication plans
- Load-out procedures
- Contractor change requests (PMOC compliance)
- Oversee:
- Contractor & subcontractor performance
- Site resource planning & mobilization
- Third Party Inspection services (TPIS)
- Manage monthly progress reporting, schedule updates, and invoice approvals
- Provide leadership during site visits from Senior Project Manager & senior stakeholders
- Ensure effective stakeholder coordination across engineering, planning, and QA/QC teams
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement (lessons learned)
🔹 Requirements
🎓 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
- 15+ years in Oil & Gas project execution (EPC environment)
- Minimum 5 years in Project Management leadership roles
- Proven experience managing:
- Offshore fabrication projects
- EPC contractors & subcontractors
- Experience with:
- Major IOC projects (ExxonMobil, Shell, etc.)
- Chinese fabrication yards (MANDATORY)
- Construction of offshore production facilities
- Strong construction & fabrication management expertise
- Deep knowledge of project planning, risk management & PMOC processes
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- Strong leadership in managing large PMT/site teams
