Benefits:
- Location: Site based
- Contract: 6months (Likelihood of extension onto brownfield and rail projects )
- Rate: $120 - $130 /hr + super
- Hours: 2/1 – 12hrs per day
- Other Benefits: Fortnightly pay, EAP contractor support, dedicated NES Fircroft consultant
- Trade qualified – A grade Electrical
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or Senior Supervisor within heavy construction, infrastructure or mining projects.
- Strong background in HV infrastructure (substations, transmission lines) highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership across multi disciplinary contractor groups.
- Excellent understanding of construction methodology, safety legislation and QA/QC standards.
- Strong communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution across substations, transmission lines and heavy SMP/civil works with ongoing projects including a conveyor expansion and rail.
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and contractors, building a high performing, safety focused workforce.
- Plan and coordinate construction schedules and resources, ensuring milestones and targets are met.
- Provide technical oversight, ensuring all work aligns with Scope of Works, engineering designs and industry standards.
- Drive quality and compliance, enforcing QA/QC processes and ensuring documentation, reporting and record keeping are accurate.
- Monitor project costs and productivity, identifying risks early and implementing corrective actions.
