Purpose:
Ensure products and processes meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations by supporting QMS, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement (including ISO 9001 and valve certification standards).

Key Responsibilities

Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Maintain and support ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure procedures, records, and work instructions meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Support internal, external, and customer audits.
Auditing & Calibration
  • Plan, conduct, and document internal audits.
  • Manage calibration of inspection and test equipment for accuracy and traceability.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for audit findings.
Procedure Development & Document Control
  • Create, review, and update SOPs, work instructions, and quality documents.
  • Maintain document control systems (versioning, approvals, distribution).
  • Ensure access to current documentation across teams.
Valve Certification & Inspection
  • Support valve product certifications (API, ASME, customer standards).
  • Verify compliance with specifications, materials, and testing requirements.
  • Work with engineering and production to meet quality standards.
Management of Change (MOC)
  • Coordinate and document process/product changes.
  • Assess impact on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Ensure proper approvals, risk analysis, and documentation before implementation.
Process Improvement
  • Identify improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
  • Drive CAPA initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Track and report quality metrics.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–7 years of QA experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
  • Valve manufacturing/certification experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
  • Experience in auditing, calibration, and document control.
  • Familiarity with MOC processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in quality tools/software (ERP, document systems, Excel).
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/industrial setting with cross-functional collaboration (engineering, production, operations).
