Quality Manager
Project: Steel Project
Location: Boden, Sweden
Role Purpose
The Quality Manager will lead and implement quality assurance and quality control activities for the project in Boden, ensuring EPCM deliverables, contractors, and suppliers
comply with contractual, regulatory, and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1 Establish, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
2 Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client-specific quality requirements.
3 Audit and monitor EPC, construction, and vendor quality systems.
4 Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and
NCRs.
5 Oversee site inspections, FATs, SATs, and mechanical completion activities.
6 Coordinate quality interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and
commissioning.
7 Act as primary quality interface with Stegra’s project and quality teams.
8 Support plant certification, regulatory compliance, and readiness for operations.
9 Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned across project phases.
Requirements
1 Degree in Engineering or Quality-related discipline.
2 10+ years’ experience on major industrial EPC or EPCM projects.
3 Background in steel, energy, hydrogen, chemicals, or heavy manufacturing.
4 Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, construction quality, and contractor management.
5 Experience with first-of-a-kind, large-scale industrial projects preferred.
