Its Data Centre division continues to experience significant growth, delivering world-class projects for many of the world's leading technology companies. As the business expands its presence across Europe, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Regional Director to lead operations across Germany.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the business, leading the successful delivery of major hyperscale and mission-critical projects while building and developing a high-performing regional team.

The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Operations Director – Data Centres, the Regional Director will provide strategic leadership across all operations within Germany.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance, client relationships, operational excellence and the continued growth of the company's presence within one of Europe's most important data centre markets.

This role requires a dynamic leader who combines exceptional operational expertise with strong commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
  • Lead and implement the company's operational strategy across Germany.
  • Provide executive leadership across multiple large-scale Data Centre projects.
  • Drive operational excellence, consistency and best practice across all project teams.
  • Develop, mentor and support Project Directors and senior management teams.
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Project Delivery
  • Maintain overall accountability for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee project performance from pre-construction through commissioning and final handover.
  • Provide leadership on programme, commercial, contractual and technical matters.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Commercial & Business Performance
  • Take ownership of regional operational and commercial performance.
  • Support tender reviews, project planning and bid strategy.
  • Drive cost certainty, forecasting and financial performance across the project portfolio.
  • Monitor project KPIs and provide robust reporting to the Executive Leadership Team.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the client within the German Data Centre market.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, subcontractors and supply chain partners to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Promote repeat business opportunities through exceptional project delivery.
People Leadership
  • Recruit, develop and retain high-performing project teams.
  • Create succession plans and leadership development programmes.
  • Champion employee engagement and professional development.
  • Encourage collaboration across Operations, Commercial, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, EHS and Finance functions.
Health, Safety & Quality
  • Demonstrate visible leadership in health, safety and wellbeing.
  • Ensure full compliance with all statutory, client and company requirements.
  • Drive a culture where quality and safety are embedded in every aspect of project delivery.
About You You are an experienced construction leader with a proven track record of delivering complex mission-critical or major infrastructure projects.

You will possess:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale Data Centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other mission-critical construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing high-performing teams within fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and CSA construction.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Previous experience working with hyperscale clients would be advantageous.
