Position Summary:
Job Level: TBC
Position Function: Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
Matrix Entity Supported: Finance
Financial and Delegated Authorities:  As per MoA
 
Purpose
Supports the business to comply with global regulatory obligations and provide support to all Groups on Woodside’s Regulatory frameworks across all business activities and jurisdictions in which Woodside operates.
Engage with GRC stakeholders to drive regulatory compliance performance. Input into reports summarising Woodside's regulatory compliance performance. Provide updates of external trends in energy industry regulation and compliance processes to satisfy these.

TECHNICAL
  • Have knowledge of the Regulatory Compliance Process documents within OurWMS
  • Govern regulatory compliance data in alignment with internal guidelines updating and maintenance of risk and control data and records in core GRC systems
  • Prepare routine and adhoc regulatory compliance reporting for stakeholders within GRC and other functions and business units. This includes preparation of powerpoint slide packs as required.
  • Conduct regulatory compliance master data analysis to identify data gaps, inconsistencies and non-compliances
  • Support the simplification, use, and monitoring of GRC systems and tools to enhance compliance visibility and performance.
  • Analyse trends in regulatory changes and non-compliance events to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and update operational dashboards and process adherence monitoring.
  • Derive insights from trends both in regulatory changes and non-compliance events and distil it for knowledge sharing and improvement opportunities.
  • Support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and systems across the business to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Oil and gas experience preferred but is secondary to responsive and influential capability
  • Understanding of governance frameworks and systems
  • Understanding of data analytics and systems
  • Advanced proficiency in use of MS Office products, in particular Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience developing corporate reporting and dashboards
