Location: Houston, TX (On-site)
Duration: 12-month contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Overview We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Analyst III to support Clean Products Trading and Supply operations. This role operates at the intersection of trading, scheduling, and finance, with a primary focus on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory and transaction data within SAP S/4HANA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling inventory positions, resolving data discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting processes, particularly during high-volume periods such as month-end close.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling inventory positions, resolving data discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting processes, particularly during high-volume periods such as month-end close.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate transactions related to Clean Products Trading and Supply within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Generate and analyze inventory build and draw reports on a regular basis
- Collaborate with traders, schedulers, and offshore teams to maintain accurate trade and inventory data
- Review and resolve complex discrepancies through the Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW) or similar systems
- Act as a backup reviewer for discrepancy workflows when required
- Support schedulers and trade support teams in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Prepare reconciliation reports, variance analysis, and summaries for management review
- Identify recurring data or process issues and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide support during critical reporting periods, including month-end close
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or operations analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in financial or inventory reconciliation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
