As a Senior Buyer and play a critical role in driving the success of key projects through expert procurement of materials, equipment, and services. In this influential position, you will lead procurement planning, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency—helping us deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable energy solutions across the full asset lifecycle. Your expertise in the oil and gas industry and strong commercial acumen will be essential as you partner with teams to meet demanding project requirements and budgets.

Responsibilities
- Procurement Planning: You develop, implement and lead procurement plans based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Supplier Sourcing: You follow strategic sourcing category manager framing and evaluate suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: You negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers for critical packages to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks. You align with the Category Management team as needed.
- Purchase Orders: You issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and company policies.
- Cost Control: You ensure procurement activities align with budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Compliance: You ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Reporting: You provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on procurement status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Mentoring: You mentor and monitor the team of buyers and support them on their activities as needed.

Required Skills
- Minimum experience of 5 years in O&G business and in mechanical purchasing activities.
- Procurement experience within the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on mechanical purchasing activities
- Proven excellence in contract negotiation and supplier management
- Mastery of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Solid leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and support buyer teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on experience in project procurement within oil and gas operations
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and company policies throughout procurement activities
- Flexible approach to collaboration across global multidisciplinary teams
