As a Senior Cost Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance—owning cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams, challenging assumptions, improving cost visibility, and providing the insight needed to steer major projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control across the full lifecycle
  • Monitor cost performance, analyse variances, and deliver accurate reporting
  • Manage invoice processes, cash flow, and cost tracking
  • Support forecasting, risk management, and financial planning activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and project outcomes
  • Contribute to contractual and commercial cost management
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cost engineering or project cost control within capital-intensive industries
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex cost data
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
  • Experience working with project stakeholders across engineering and finance
  • Familiarity with commercial and contractual frameworks
Desirable:
  • AACE, PMP, or CCE certification
  • Background in oil & gas, construction, or large-scale engineering projects
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or similar
  • 5–10+ years’ relevant experience
