Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support design teams in developing high-quality engineering deliverables
- Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex civil design challenges
- Develop, modify, and maintain site development plans using industry-standard tools
- Establish and enforce design and graphic standards across projects
- Review project requirements and ensure deliverables meet scope, quality, and compliance standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated design development
- Perform design calculations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Oversee drawing control and maintain accurate project records
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior technicians
- Review and validate design inputs and outputs for accuracy and consistency
- Support process improvements, design standards, and change management initiatives
- Monitor production schedules and budgets to ensure project alignment
- Communicate project progress, design requirements, and timelines to stakeholders
- Support field activities and project execution when required
- Strong experience with:
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Bentley MicroStation
- Bentley OpenPlant Modeler
- Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering design principles and practices
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Required: Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design Technology, or related field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Design Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 11+ years of relevant experience in civil design and engineering support
