Senior Finance Manager ( Share Service Center ) - Manufacturing

Key responsibilities:
The role consists in the management of a Shared Services Center (SSC) which handles the accounting and payments of multiple legal entities across Taiwan. It involves the management of a team of 4 people. In the context of a growing business, the role combines hands-on execution and transformation, to develop a scalable and efficient shared services model which embraces changes brought by new digital technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible of the following subjects.

Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversight:
● Monthly Closings: deliver comprehensive financial statements to the Finance Manager of every entity
● Financial Reporting: complete all inputs in the Group’s financial reporting system
● Compliance: oversee the verification of all expense claims, ensuring receipts align strictly with claims

Transactions Management:
● Invoicing & Collection: manage and optimise recurring customer invoicing and receivables collection
● Treasury: lead all treasury transactions, including payments and occasional FX deals
● Banking Liaison: act as the primary point of contact for banks regarding e-banking platforms and the maintenance of approval matrices

Audit and Internal Control:
● External Audit: manage year-end external audits and yearly tax audits, including fee negotiation
● Internal Control & Audit: manage the yearly Internal Control campaign and ad-hoc Internal Audit campaigns

Systems & Transformation:
● System Ownership & Development: manage various Finance-related systems; contribute to the deployment of a Procure-to-Payment (P2P) system and of Group’s new financial reporting system
● Transformation: continuously propose and implement improvements of processes and tools, driving automation and efficiency in close collaboration with the Digital/IT team; manage changes


Requirements:
● Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting/Finance (or close equivalent); CPA degree is highly desired
● Very solid knowledge of Accounting standards (including IFRS) is required; tax knowledge is highly desired
● At least 10 years of experience in Accounting, within both a Big 4 audit firm and a corporate (preferrably within a SSC); deep experience of ERP systems (SAP ideally) is a must; experience in Treasury transactions is highly desired; team management experience is a must
● Proficient in English (speaking and writing); fluent in Mandarin; experience within an international environment is highly desired
● Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is highly desirable (to master Google sheet would be a strong plus)
● Very detail oriented
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Proactive in embracing new challenges and contributing to innovative assignments
● Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
