We are currently recruiting 2 x Senior Instrument & Controls Engineers for a Global Energy EPC on initial 6-month contracts to be based in Perth CBD.
These roles will suit a technically strong engineer who can work independently while supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently generate engineering deliverables to meet project, statutory and Group rules to project schedule
  • Be effective, efficient and fit for purpose in the delivery of solutions and documents
  • Assist assigned Project Manager / Relevant Engineering Discipline Leader define resource requirements and engineering document deliverables meet project technical and schedule requirements
  • Liaise with Principal Draftsperson on drafting resource requirements for projects. Instruct Drafting Team on engineering drafting requirements for projects
  • Responsible for key interfacing with other engineering disciplines during project execution
  • Participate in formal or informal reporting to Discipline Lead on progress of engineering tasks, budget and schedule progress, lessons learnt and resources
  • Attend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to relevant discipline engineering
  • Manage procurement of either permanent or temporary material / equipment associated with relevant discipline engineering
  • Provide site engineering supervision / technical assistance for manufacturing, fabrication, installation site or commissioning and start-up
  • Undertake engineering tasks in other engineering disciplines when required
  • Undertake tasks as directed by managers, when required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant discipline) -recognised by the Institute of Engineers Australia
  • Demonstrated competency in EEHA to plan and design electrical installations, according to AS/NZS 4761, from an RTO within the last 5 years
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience of producing broad range of technical deliverables including calculations, drawings, simulations and reports
Experience
  • Minimum 8+ years experience within the energy or related engineering industry
  • Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects and technical documentation
