Join our clients team in Rotterdam as a Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer, where your expertise in rotating and marine equipment will be pivotal in delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable engineering solutions that drive project success and shape the future of our organization.

In this hands-on role, you will lead the technical engineering efforts for complex mechanical systems, ensuring designs meet rigorous international codes and industry standards.

  • Strong background in engineering design, calculations, and concept development
  • Proficiency with mechanical static equipment and package engineering processes
  • Hands-on experience with inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring of mechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of systems engineering, reliability, operability, and safety analysis
  • Effective coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with contractual and company requirements
 Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience acting as a Discipline Lead or Package Engineer with technical responsibility
  • Familiarity with industry-specific engineering software tools
  • Insight into sustainability practices and integration into mechanical design
  • Knowledge of marine-specific standards and regulations
 Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Engineer Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally 5 to 10 years within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
  • Extensive background working within the Rotterdam area or Netherlands, with residency in NL preferred
 Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to work onsite in Rotterdam three days a week, with the option to work remotely two days a week
  • Immediate start or availability within 2-3 months for multiple openings
  • Commitment to compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to the role
