Senior Piping Material Engineer – Drive Excellence in Oil & Gas Engineering

As a Senior Piping Material Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and engineering solutions that meet the highest standards, ensuring project success and organizational growth.
 
This is a full-time position offering a hybrid work model – three days in the office and two days remote – perfect for professionals prepared to relocate to the Netherlands and thrive in a collaborative, challenging environment.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in piping material selection and engineering within the oil and gas industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international codes, industry standards, and regulations
  • Proven ability to optimize design processes to meet safety, reliability, and sustainability criteria
  • Experience managing scope of work, budgets, and schedules effectively
  • Skilled in coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties
  • Ability to apply lessons learned and manage system interfaces within complex projects
  • Leadership capabilities, including guiding engineers and potentially acting as a Discipline Lead
 
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Offshore or vessel project experience
  • EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project background
  • Package Engineer experience with technical responsibility for design, procurement, and manufacture
 
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Engineer diploma in a relevant discipline
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
 
Other Requirements:
 
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to Rotterdam, Netherlands
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
  • Commitment to a full-time, long-term role
