Senior Planner / Scheduler Asset Retirement

NES Fircroft are seeking a Senior Planner / Scheduler on behalf of our valued Oil and Gas Client. This will be a 12-month contract with potential to extend. This role will be based in Perth CBD and offers flexible work conditions. 

Role Description:

• Develop and maintain the integrated Australia Asset Retirement Schedule across mobilisation, pre-works, shut-in/hydrocarbon freeing, execution and remediation.
• The role is responsible for building and updating Primavera schedules, establishing baselines, tracking progress, reporting critical path and resource forecasts, and coordinating closely with projects stakeholders, discipline coordinators, production, support functions and the cost team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Primavera P6 scheduling, integrated planning for decommissioning/shutdown scopes, and stakeholder coordination across multi-functional teams.
• Power BI knowledge, resource levelling and manning histogram reporting, and experience supporting cost integration, assurance and lessons learned.

The successful Candidate will:

• Have end-to-end ownership of an integrated decommissioning schedule for a complex, high-visibility multi-billion dollars asset retirement program.
• Be proactive, detail-oriented scheduler who can work across technical teams, challenge assumptions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Workforce Planning Predictions:

• Build 2027 baselines, integrate approved scopes, support schedule optimisation, progress reporting and resource forecasting across decommissioning phases.
