Senior Process Enginer

Qualification and experience
 

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering (or Master or equivalent)
• 9 - 14 years’ experience in Oil and Gas design of complexes (Oil and Gas/ Refinery/ Petrochemical)
• Possess a Professional Engineer title (Ir.) from BEM/IEM for Malaysian (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office and other mathematical, design and drafting tools are required
• Extensive knowledge with International codes and standard preferred
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in leading small project team preferred
• Experience in negotiating with internal customer and/or client to achieve desired results
• Ability to provide explanation on concepts, approaches and impacts in a non-technical way to junior team members and clients
• Extensive experience in various calculations and analytics
• Extensive experience in engineering practices and relevant deliverables
• Proficient in relating/rationalizing the selected approaches and impacts of solutions provided

Abilities and knowledge
 

• Long lead equipment interfaces with vendors, e.g. compressors and gas turbine generators
• Participation in HAZOP and specialist studies
