We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for a Global Energy EPC in Perth CBD on an initial 9-month contract.

Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver multi-discipline scopes of work, including during commissioning Elaborate, clarify, delineate, and elaborate initially unclear (discovery) scopes into clear, specific and feasible scope of work packages.
- Be responsible for scope definition, schedule and budget documentation
- Drive execution of small to medium work packages, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost control
- Coordinate procurement activities of permanent and/or temporary materials and equipment, including engagement with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Provide site coordination support to construction activities
- Support commissioning-related discovery work and issue resolution.
- Complete project start-up and close out activities.
- Monitor and actively manage schedule-critical activities, expediting critical activities where required
- Facilitate technical and delivery issue resolution across stakeholders
- Interface with clients, suppliers, and contractors to resolve technical and delivery challenges
- Provide field engineering support to construction and installation
- Drive stakeholders (internal and external) to meet commitments and deliver outcomes
- Promote HSE and quality compliance across all activities
- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation for evolving scopes
- Advise Project Manager / Principal Engineer on resource requirements
- Set up, drive and implement change management processes to assist with controlled project execution
- To assist and supervise the work performed by assigned Engineer(s) / Designers
- Engineering Degree which is recognised by the Institute of Engineers Australia
- Typically, a minimum of 8 years’ experience in project engineering
- Demonstrated robust experience in project execution phase delivery
- Experience in site-based roles (onshore)
- Experience delivering plant or industrial project
- Desirable: Commissioning experience & Electrical Background
- Adhoc site visits
