PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and supporting major capital projects at the mining operation, with a strong emphasis on safety, cost control, schedule adherence, and quality execution. The position oversees end‑to‑end project delivery—including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and stakeholder coordination—while managing scope, budget, and performance for complex mining and infrastructure initiatives. Working closely with senior project managers on projects exceeding $50M, the role provides technical and operational leadership, develops project scopes, and applies deep expertise in areas such as tailings facilities, leach operations, and water balance management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and values.

Our operations in Arizona offers housing at a subsidized rate, a family-friendly atmosphere and numerous amenities including an aquatic center, golf course and fitness center. Located 100 miles northwest of Phoenix, Bagdad is home to the world's first commercial - scale concentrate leach processing facility, as well as one of the longest continuously operating solvent extraction/electrowinning plants in the world. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for planning and executing the safety, engineering, procurement, construction, and customer service for major capital projects within the company.
- Responsible for the scope, cost, schedule, safety, and quality associated with projects within the mining company.
- Monitor work performance and institute cost controls for projects.
- Review and/or develop scopes of work for potential projects within the company.
- Support Senior Project Managers in projects with a value in excess of $50M.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related Scientific field, and minimum of eight (8) years of related experience and familiarity with processes, systems, and terminology in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction, OR
- High School diploma and thirteen (13) years of related experience and familiarity with processes, systems, and terminology in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):
- 3 years of tailings experience
- 5 years of experience in a leadership operational role(s)
- Able to demonstrate technical competence through design and/or operations experience in at least one of the following work areas: tailings storage facilities, crushed leach facilities, or process water balance
- Experience in tailings design, management, operations, water balance management and geochemistry
