Our client, a large renewable energy developer, is currently seeking a Site Safety Manager for their solar site in Klickitat County, WA! Per diem will be provided.
Location and Work Schedule:
New build solar construction project located in Klickitat County, Washington.
Project schedules typically range from 6 months to 2+ years. Project currently estimated to start in September 2026 through December 2027, dates subject to change. Work schedules are typically 5-7 days a week dependent on project scope and schedule. Potential opportunity to transition to projects following completion.
Job Description:
• Ensure project site contractors and vendors meet contract HSE requirements and applicable HSE laws, regulations, and codes.
• Represent the company with both internal stakeholders, external contractors and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to work with a site team, corporate team, and contractors to complete HSE tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Complete project level risk reviews and maintain company specific risk assessments.
• Represent company in daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings.
• Develop and maintain project level HSE procedures, presentations, and project management trackers.
• Review and evaluate incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Track and validate contractor HSE metrics at assigned project site.
• Conduct HSE observations and self-assessments at assigned project site.
• Utilize ISNetworld to evaluate contractor HSE performance.
Requirements:
• 3-10 years’ experience in construction HSE; preferably renewables.
• B.A./B.S. Degree
• CHST, ASP, or CSP
• Working knowledge of industry regulatory requirements.
• OSHA 30 Construction, OSHA 500 preferred.
• Trained or willing to be trained in first aid/CPR.
• Comfortable commuting to and working in remote locations.
• Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
