We are seeking a full time Solids Control Operator to join our oil and gas client for an initial 6-months with the possibility of extension.

Role Summary:

Solids Control Operator: Manages and maintains equipment that separates solid particles from drilling fluids during oil and gas operations. They operate centrifuges, shakers, and centrifuges, ensuring efficient fluid recycling, waste minimization, and environmental compliance, while troubleshooting machinery on-site.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Monitor, clean, and maintain solids control equipment including shale shakers, degassers, mud cleaners, and centrifuges.
  • Fluid Management: Optimize drilling fluid properties and ensure proper removal of solid waste to enhance drilling efficiency.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery, including pumps and augers.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, complete Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and manage waste disposal.
  • Reporting: Monitor, report, and maintain inventory levels (e.g., skips, ISOs) and document daily performance data.
  • Provide ongoing support to assist operations in providing our customers the most effective, environmentally safe drilling fluids available while optimizing the well-bore construction process and maximizing our customers' production.
  • Performs other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance with the clients Standard, Legal Compliance requirements and Core Values.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements: 
  • Diploma in any related Field
  • Industry experience and product line training required.
  • Minimum 3 years experienced in related field.

  • Understanding of various centrifuge unit is a plus.
