About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Solutions Engineer to join their expanding North America operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to provide high-quality engineering and product support both on-site and remotely. The Solutions Engineer will proactively identify service-related business opportunities while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

As a global provider of innovative engineered equipment, aftermarket parts, and services, the client supports the mining, resources, and bulk materials handling industries internationally. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-performance solutions within a technically driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to engineering service requests, primarily supporting the service team, including basic drafting/design tasks and engineering calculations
  • Conduct high-level and detailed engineering reviews of service jobs and projects as required
  • Prepare and deliver equipment training programs for clients and end-users in both classroom (theoretical) and on-site (practical) settings
  • Participate in and, where required, lead or supervise on-site installation and commissioning activities
  • Perform site equipment audits and prepare associated technical reports
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements or equipment upgrades, including calculations and redline drawings to support implementation
  • Assist in the development, review, and verification of detailed scopes of work for service-related projects
  • Act as a liaison between the Service and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality submission of site service, installation, and commissioning reports
About You
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within a service-focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
  • Proven experience with mechanical equipment installation and commissioning
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally without restriction
