Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Sr Business System Analyst – SMP with Saudi Aramco
Job Requirements:
Handles complex activities that relate to the analysis and evaluation of current systems and supports in the identification of business, organizational and/or operational requirements as well as assist in the design, development and launching of systems in support of core business functions, processes and programs. Supports research and assessment of system needs and technology improvement opportunities.
The incumbent analyses business-related activities, and performs special studies which result in the identification of business system problem. Provides resolution through automation or redesign of the Business System which are moderately complex in nature. Areas include accountability, performance indices, auditing, data control and flow analysis, inventory control, work order tracking, access control, and other special projects related to the department operations. The incumbent normally receives general guidance from the supervisor, which is generally limited to the outline of overall objectives to be achieved.
The incumbent interfaces directly with the department or related user representatives.
The incumbent is recommended to have Business System Analyst Skills such as analyzing information and promoting process improvement.

Specify work experience:
- SAP Expertise:
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP-PM (Plant Maintenance), specifically Equipment Master, Functional Locations, Inspection Planning and Maintenance Planning.
- Proven experience with inspection data management system (or similar custom SAP inspection modules), including understanding of custom Z-programs, user exits, and enhancement spots.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration points with external integrity tools.
- Data Analytics & Visualization:
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for developing interactive dashboards and real-time asset integrity reports.
- Strong SQL skills for querying SAP databases, validating data integrity, and generating complex ad-hoc reports without heavy reliance on standard SAP transactions.
- Industrial IoT & Data Platforms:
- Working knowledge of PI System (OSIsoft) or similar industrial data historians. Ability to interpret data flows from PI to SAP for condition-based maintenance insights.
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes relevant to asset data.
- AI & Machine Learning Foundations:
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to predictive maintenance and asset integrity (e.g. failure mode analysis).
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI-driven solutions.
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong on ABAP, OData, CDS views, Web Dynpro, WORKFLOW, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BADIs, BAPIs.
- Frontend UI5/Fiori development.
- Work experience with Saudi Aramco projects, at least 5 years preferred.

- Project Management & Leadership:
- Experience in defining project scopes, managing timelines, and tracking deliverables for enhancement projects.
- Ability to lead functional solutions design workshops and guide end-users through change management.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
- Analytical mindset to diagnose root causes of system issues (functional vs. technical) and manage end-to-end resolution of IT Remedy tickets.
- Proactive approach to identifying systemic weaknesses before they cause an impact on company’s assets.
