Job Title: SSHE Lead III
Location: Quarry Park, AB
Length: 7 months (possible extension based on performance)
Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off
Role Summary
The Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Supervisor supports applicable functions, units, and projects by developing and reviewing deliverables, responding to management requests, identifying staffing needs, and reviewing and endorsing work deliverables.
The role provides stewardship, analysis, direction, and supervisory support to ensure that tools, resources, and processes are fit for purpose and aligned with SSHE objectives and priorities.
The SSHE Supervisor is accountable for managing reporting personnel to optimize performance, ensuring effective stewardship, and supporting career development.

Key Responsibilities
- Support organizational SSHE objectives through effective leadership, guidance, and oversight
- Develop, review, and endorse SSHE-related deliverables
- Identify workforce and resource requirements to support SSHE initiatives
- Provide analysis and recommendations to management on SSHE matters
- Ensure that tools, systems, and support mechanisms are fit for purpose
- Lead and manage direct reports, including performance optimization and career development
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure understanding of and compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Report all SSHE incidents in accordance with company procedures
- Conduct Workplace Safety Observations
- Comply with client requirements and actively promote SSHE practices on site
- Ensure adherence to Emergency Preparedness and Response procedures
- Enforce compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Role Scope
- Drives SSHE performance across assigned functions, units, or projects
- Ensures alignment with corporate standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Provides leadership in risk management, compliance, and performance improvement
- Acts as a key contributor to a strong safety culture and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working in multicultural and/or multilingual environments, preferably in emerging markets
- Experience in safety-related roles, including some exposure to oil & gas operations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong SSHE performance on projects
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with sound judgment and understanding of company procedures

Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder engagement and teamwork capabilities
- No additional training will be provided beyond company-specific safety standards and procedures
