Structural Design Engineer / Structural Engineer – Telecom Towers & Masts

About the role:
We are currently supporting a recruitment process for a company operating in the telecommunications infrastructure and engineering sector.
The role is focused on structural engineering activities related to telecommunications masts and towers, including the review, verification and authorization of structural (static) calculations prepared in accordance with Eurocodes.
Location: Estonia / Latvia / Lithuania

Key responsibilities:

Reviewing, verifying and authorizing structural / static calculations for telecommunications masts and towers.
Analysing completed design and calculation packages and assessing their technical correctness.
Preparing structural calculations, calculation models and technical documentation where required.
Participating in the verification of technical and construction designs.
Ensuring compliance with Eurocodes, in particular EN 1993-3-1, EN 1990 and EN 1991, including relevant National Annexes.
Cooperating closely with the design team and other stakeholders on telecom infrastructure projects.
Working in a task-based model, depending on the number and scope of assigned calculations / reviews.


Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Unrestricted structural design and sign-off rights in the candidate’s home market, with the ability to independently approve and sign structural calculations and documentation.
Proven, hands-on experience in telecommunications towers and masts (e.g. lattice towers, monopoles, antenna support structures).
Strong knowledge of structural analysis and static calculations for steel structures.
Practical knowledge of Eurocodes, especially EN 1993-3-1 (Towers and Masts).
Experience with structural calculation software such as Autodesk Robot, AxisVM, IDEA StatiCa, ABC Obiekt or similar.
Very good knowledge of AutoCAD.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for technical decisions.
Willingness to travel when required.
Experience with cross-border engineering work or recognition of professional qualifications in the Baltic countries (Lithuania / Latvia / Estonia) will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of English is required; additional languages are an asset.
