NES Fircroft are currently supporting our valued client, Woodside, who are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Perth based team on an initial 12 month contract.
About the Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise to maintain the integrity and reliability of ageing offshore assets, ensuring compliance with Woodside, industry, and regulatory standards.

About the Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise to maintain the integrity and reliability of ageing offshore assets, ensuring compliance with Woodside, industry, and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Asset Integrity Management: Monitor, assess and maintain the structural integrity of the NWS Offshore platforms
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement structural maintenance strategies, inspection schedules and repair programs.
- Technical Support: Provide engineering advice during shutdowns, turnarounds, and unplanned maintenance events.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct structural risk evaluations, recommend mitigation measures and forward plan.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated solutions. Engage relevant Stakeholders to deliver the best outcome.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years’ experience in structural engineering within the Oil & Gas offshore industry
- Strong knowledge of offshore structural codes (ISO, DNV, API).
- Experience with inspection, maintenance, and repair of offshore steel structures.
- Familiarity with Structural Integrity Management Systems
