Study Lead

We are currently working with one of our major clients in the mining industry in Oman and supporting the search for a Study Lead to join their Projects & Technical function in Muscat.
This is a senior owner-side role responsible for leading the full front-end loading (FEL) lifecycle, from Scoping through PFS, DFS, and FEED, ensuring investment-grade study delivery aligned with governance and stage-gate frameworks.
Key focus areas include:

• End-to-end study lifecycle management (Scoping → FEED)
• Consultant and EPCM scope ownership and performance management
• Multi-discipline integration (mining, metallurgy, process, infrastructure, ESG)
• Technical-economic trade-off analysis and value engineering
• Gate 3 / FID package preparation for investment decision
• Compliance with international reporting standards (JORC / NI 43-101)

We are looking to connect with professionals who have strong experience in mining project studies within owner teams or leading EPCM consultancy environments.
