As a Study Start Up Specialist, you will be the critical link that ensures clinical trials launch smoothly and on schedule. Working closely with clinical research teams and investigational sites, you’ll facilitate study activation processes on a country or regional level, driving efficiency and quality from the very beginning.
In this role, you will manage study-specific startup tracking systems, oversee site budget and contract negotiations, and support regulatory document collection. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop site-specific timelines, and help meet activation milestones to accelerate access to life-changing medicines. Your contribution will directly impact healthcare advances while working in an environment that values autonomy, innovation, and continuous growth.

Required Skills
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in clinical research
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Negotiation skills and capacity to build effective relationships at multiple levels
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in English and Japanese at a high business level to fluent
- Experience preparing submission dossiers for regulatory authorities or ethics committees
- Familiarity with Trial Master File (TMF) maintenance during study startup
- Exposure to multi-country or regional study coordination
- Knowledge of clinical research translations and cultural nuances
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Willingness to collaborate closely with international teams and adapt to a global environment
- Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
