SUMMARY: In this role, the employee is expected to schedule, supervise and manage all electrical assembly resources on site to ensure that daily goals and objectives are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves as first-line supervisor directing, instructing and coordinating a variety of installation tasks associated with the manufacturing of power generation units and other equipment.
  • Develops daily/weekly production plans and alters as necessary.
  • Monitors employee/team performance against stated goals and objectives on a near-hourly basis.
  • Understands and reports status of daily and weekly production plans using clear and concise communication.
  • Supervises and is present for large/complex efforts and uses their expertise to guide the activity when necessary
  • Lead and support the development and training of staff.
  • Works in coordination with team lead(s) to manage the daily operations of assigned employee(s), ensuring overall quality, productivity, and policy / contract adherence.
  • Supports employee(s) by answering questions and assisting where needed.  
  • Provides feedback to management regarding employee/team performance
  • Achieves required safety, quality, delivery and performance levels through effective communication, management and leadership
  • Attends daily production meetings.
  • Owns customer satisfaction with everything under your direction.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years experience or related experience
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Able to work with teams and communicate clearly with team leaders and team members.
