We are working with Woodside Energy, recruiting for a Supplier Maintenance Adviser to join them on an initial 12-month contract with possible extension. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, reducing payment risk, and supporting efficient procure-to-pay operations across the business. You will work closely with Accounts Payable, Ethics and Compliance and internal stakeholders to ensure supplier data is complete, accurate, and maintained in line with company policies and control requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain supplier master records in enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance).
- Process supplier onboarding requests and change requests, including bank account updates, in accordance with internal controls and approval workflows.
- Perform validation and verification checks to mitigate fraud and ensure SOX and audit compliance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve data discrepancies and incomplete documentation.
- Monitor queues, inboxes, and workflows to ensure requests are processed within agreed service levels.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all supplier changes.
- Previous experience in Supplier Maintenance, Accounts Payable, Master Data, or a similar finance operations role
- Experience using ERP or supplier management systems (SAP and/or Ariba experience highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and risks
- Understanding of internal controls, segregation of duties, and fraud prevention principles
- Ability to manage high volumes of requests while meeting deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills when dealing with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow defined processes
- Experience working in a SOX-controlled or highly regulated environment
- Exposure to supplier onboarding and bank account validation processes
