Supply Chain Quality Lead Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Quality Lead to support a major industrial and energy project in Northern Sweden. The role will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are achieved across the supply chain, from supplier qualification and manufacturing through to delivery and site installation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within large-scale EPCM, EPC, or PMC environments, managing supplier quality across complex, high-value projects and international supply chains.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Quality Lead to support a major industrial and energy project in Northern Sweden. The role will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are achieved across the supply chain, from supplier qualification and manufacturing through to delivery and site installation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within large-scale EPCM, EPC, or PMC environments, managing supplier quality across complex, high-value projects and international supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier quality activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage supplier qualification, audits, assessments, and performance reviews.
- Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate vendor inspections, manufacturing surveillance, and FATs.
- Drive resolution of non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality issues.
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Project teams to mitigate quality risks.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
- Provide regular reporting on supply chain quality performance and key risks.
- 10+ years' experience in Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Quality, Vendor Quality, or Quality Assurance roles.
- Strong experience delivering major projects within EPCM, EPC, or PMC organisations.
- Background in Energy, Renewables, Mining & Metals, Process Plants, Industrial Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Proven experience conducting supplier audits, vendor surveillance, and quality inspections.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and supplier quality processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and quality activities across a complex project environment.
- Lead Auditor qualification and engineering degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel to supplier facilities across Europe and internationally as required.
