As a Supply Chain Software Specialist, you will be the vital link between business operations and IT, ensuring our supply chain applications such as IFS and NADIA run smoothly and efficiently.
You will provide daily functional support, swiftly analyze and resolve issues, and collaborate with IT teams and external partners to enhance system performance and user experience.
This role is crucial to maintaining operational excellence and enabling continuous improvement in a dynamic, global environment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Application Support with strong exposure to Incident and Problem Management.
- Proficient in Change Management methodologies and ability to act as a Change Agent.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain processes and hands-on experience with supply chain software applications (procurement tools, GEMS, SC related systems).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for managing complex technical and functional issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging with end users, stakeholders, and documenting solutions clearly.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and a positive team environment.
- Competence in governance, risk, and control frameworks, with the ability to translate these into actionable strategies.
- Experience with system administration and performing systems integrity checks.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies for incident investigation.
- Knowledge of inspection, testing, commissioning, and quality control processes related to supply chain systems.
- Exposure to implementing continuous improvement initiatives and applying innovative ways of working.
- Experience in software upgrades and selecting new systems or tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Information Technology is preferred.
- Candidates with equivalent strong knowledge of supply chain processes combined with relevant application support experience will be highly considered.
- Must currently reside in the Netherlands.
- Visa support is available for the right candidate.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Willingness to engage with international teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and continuous training as required.
