JOB DESCRIPTION Monday through Friday standard business hours 40 hrs/week

Essential Responsibilities:
•    Preparing/Checking of 3D Revit and Inventor structural models and 2D drawings and details of structural building systems.
•    Create/Check definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 3D models, 2D cross sections, section details, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
•    Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a structural discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
•    Has knowledge of structural drafting and design best practices, including interfaces with mechanical piping, HVAC and electrical.
•    Design activity will require knowledge of design principles and drafting procedures.
•    Work with BIM coordinator to manage and issue models in Autodesk Construction Cloud tool while enforcing configuration management plan.
•    Support Civil Structural Team in 3D model (Navisworks, Revit, Inventor).
•    Proficient in Revit & Autodesk suite of tools.
•    Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
•    Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions

Qualifications:
•    An Associates degree in Structural Design (or similar) 5 years of experience in structural drafting for heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries.
•    OR at least 10 years of relevant work experience in structural drafting for heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience using Inventor and REVIT
•    Performed Drafting/Modeling Checking role for 5 years or more
•    Must be able to pass nuclear security background check for access

Additional Desired Qualifications:
•    Serve in role as Drafting/Modeling Checker to ensure complicance with drafting standards and model management
•    Experience managing project work schedules and priorities.
•    Work proactively with Engineering teams to develop 3D Model in Autodesk Tool suite (Revit)
•    Work within a team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for mission success.
•    Perform work in compliance with policies and procedures.
•    Competency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft products and Microsoft teams
•    Advanced knowledge of Revit family creation
•    Autodesk Inventor experience a plus
•    Experience using Autodesk BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud
•    Experience using Autodesk Vault
•    Experience using Autodesk Inventor
