Technical Analyst (Asset Retirement)

We are working with our Major Oil and Gas Operator, recruiting for a Technical Analyst (Asset Retirement) to join them on an initial 2-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Scope of work:
Workforce planning

• Manage workforce planning for project and function
• Responsible for tracking of site PoB (People on Board)

Information Management Steward

• Manage SharePoint and Teams sites on behalf of Function and Projects
• Facilitate controlled documents into Document Management - D2
• Facilitate input of 3rd party Remediation reports into the Barrow Island database

Reporting and Analysis

• Power BI Reporting – develop dashboards and reports for site contractor tracking, contractor document deliverables etc
• Manage the capture of competitive performance initiatives
• Support Wells Plug & Abandonment on data input and reconciliation

Skills/ Experience:

• Proficient in data analytics and presentation tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire, excel, etc)
• Proficient in managing information and document management systems (e.g. Documentum, SharePoint, etc)
• Understanding of data science principles with ideally some demonstrated capability
• Experience in data modelling preferred
• High attention to detail and data driven approach to finding solutions and insights
• Good written and verbal communication skills as this position will interface with various local and international stakeholders
• Able to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Adaptable and able to work in an agile manner to deal with changes in needs
• Able to identify and implement process improvements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
