Role Overview
Our client are looking for a Temporary Works Design Manager to support temporary works engineering activities across infrastructure projects.
The role will involve technical coordination, design management and engineering assurance across temporary works solutions and construction methodologies.

Our client are looking for a Temporary Works Design Manager to support temporary works engineering activities across infrastructure projects.
The role will involve technical coordination, design management and engineering assurance across temporary works solutions and construction methodologies.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead temporary works design coordination activities.
- Undertake or review temporary works calculations and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate interfaces between temporary works, permanent works and construction teams.
- Manage temporary works designers and specialist consultants.
- Support construction methodology and buildability reviews.
- Participate in engineering risk reviews and temporary works assurance processes.
- Support tender development and construction planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with temporary works procedures and relevant standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineer.
- Strong experience in temporary works engineering within UK infrastructure projects.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
- Experience undertaking and checking engineering calculations.
- Contractor-side experience preferred.
- Experience managing external designers beneficial.
