Transmission Electrician / Networks Officer
Join a high‑performing transmission team supporting the Pilbara Grid Network.
• Perform HV switching up to 220 kV
• Maintain and operate transmission substations
• Work in long‑tenured, supportive teams in Port Hedland or Karratha

SALARY & BENEFITS
• Base Salary: $115,859
• Location Allowance: $19,863
• Prepaid overtime & availability allowances: approx. $25,000
• Additional on‑call allowance: $12.5k
• Superannuation: 13.5% paid on all of the above
• Total package (incl. super): approx. $200,000
• Company‑provided housing
• 9‑day fortnight (8.3 hrs/day)
• On‑call rotation: 1 week in 5

ABOUT YOU
• WA Electrical Worker’s Licence + WA Driver’s Licence
• 3–5+ years experience in transmission or distribution networks
• HV switching competency (up to 220 kV desirable)
• Strong understanding of protection systems and secondary systems
• Collaborative, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in small teams
THE JOB ROLE
• Maintain, operate, and fault‑find across 7 substations in either Port Hedland or Karratha
• Perform HV switching, testing, commissioning, and protection maintenance
• Work within long‑tenured, supportive teams with strong technical capability
• Contribute to safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Pilbara Grid Network
• Initial priorities include learning local assets, supporting planned maintenance, and assisting with fault response
