Vessel Logistics Supervisor

We're seeking an experienced Vessel Logistics Supervisor to coordinate offshore marine logistics and vessel scheduling in support of offshore operations. This is a hands-on logistics role where you'll work closely with offshore teams, vessel crews and shore base personnel to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people, equipment and bulk materials.

About the Role

As the Vessel Logistics Supervisor, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating vessel movements, cargo scheduling and offshore logistics activities. Acting as the central point of contact between offshore and onshore stakeholders, you'll ensure operational requirements are met while maintaining compliance with marine and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily offshore logistics planning and vessel scheduling.
  • Liaase with offshore and onshore stakeholders to develop and communicate vessel schedules.
  • Coordinate bulk cargo requirements including diesel, methanol, glycol and deck cargo movements.
  • Plan bunkering and bulk transfers to maximise vessel efficiency.
  • Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, berthing and loading activities with the shore base.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to plan cargo load-outs and backloads.
  • Issue approved schedules and supporting documentation to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in daily operational planning meetings.
  • Reconcile marine fuel documentation and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
  • Maintain accurate logistics information within logistics management systems.
  • Prepare monthly reporting, including vessel lift and tonnage reports.
  • Support audits, compliance activities and operational documentation.
  • Provide occasional after-hours operational support when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
  • Experience in offshore logistics, marine operations, supply chain or shore base operations.
  • Knowledge of vessel scheduling and offshore logistics coordination.
  • An understanding of marine operational and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using logistics or marine management systems (such as Kabal or similar) is advantageous.
  • Previous seagoing experience on offshore support vessels will be highly regarded but is not essential.
