Vessel Operation Engineering Services

Position: Vessel Operations Engineer
Location: France (with onshore and offshore missions)
Start Date: June 2026
Duration: 12 Month Renewable Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for all technical and operational aspects related to the vessel package.
• Manage project vessel schedules, logistics planning, and operational coordination.
• Review engineering and methods documentation related to vessel operations and offshore installation activities.
• Oversee subcontractor engineering processes as required.
• Prepare technical requisitions and documentation including Scope of Work, MTOs, TBEs, and specifications.
• Participate in risk assessments and provide operational recommendations.
• Coordinate vessel mobilization and demobilization and manage offshore works execution.
• Coordinate onboard resources and oversee crewing requirements.
• Manage vessel operations during onshore installation campaigns.
• Interface with project discipline engineers and Asset departments.
• Operate autonomously under supervision of a project manager.
• Ensure full compliance with QHSE requirements and site rules.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience in offshore vessel operations.
• Experience with offshore installations and offshore operations preferred.
• Ability to manage interfaces with multi‑disciplinary project teams.
• SAP system experience highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Valid BOSIET (OPITO approved).
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
