Warehouse Logistics Specialist
Position Summary
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely material movements, and efficient supply chain execution. This role leverages extensive experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP S/4HANA to support receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and operational excellence.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely material movements, and efficient supply chain execution. This role leverages extensive experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP S/4HANA to support receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize SAP EWM to process warehouse transactions, inventory movements, and logistics activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time material availability and customer deliveries.
- Execute goods receipt (GR), goods issue (GI), stock transfers, and inventory adjustments within SAP.
- Support production and operations teams by ensuring timely material flow and replenishment.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and system transaction errors.
- Maintain warehouse master data and ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures.
- Generate and analyze inventory, logistics, and warehouse performance reports.
- Collaborate with transportation, procurement, production, and supply chain teams to optimize material movement and warehouse efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Kanban, and process optimization projects.
- Ensure adherence to company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- SAP EWM Super User or Key User experience.
- Experience within manufacturing, energy, industrial, or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Forklift certification and warehouse safety training are a plus.
