Warehouse Operator
Reporting to the Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will support the day-to-day supply and logistics operations at site.
This role is responsible for executing key warehouse activities including loading and unloading, freight processing, receiving and issuing goods, storage, handling, packaging, and dispatch. The successful candidate will maintain a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and inventory accuracy while ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and industry standards.
You will play a key role in delivering efficient and timely services to internal stakeholders, while maintaining a high standard of workplace health and safety and ensuring compliance across all warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will support the day-to-day supply and logistics operations at site.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and inventory accuracy while ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and industry standards.
You will play a key role in delivering efficient and timely services to internal stakeholders, while maintaining a high standard of workplace health and safety and ensuring compliance across all warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislative requirements
- Maintain a high level of stock control through accurate use of warehouse management systems
- Ensure inventory integrity through precise receipt, issue, transfer, and dispatch of materials
- Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and transport providers to ensure efficient operations
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner in line with procedures and instructions
- Perform loading and unloading activities in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Report any non-compliance and support corrective actions
- Ensure all goods are received and dispatched safely, accurately, and cost-effectively
- Maintain accurate records for storage and transport of hazardous or dangerous goods
- Support general warehouse and yard operations as required
- Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing and Logistics (desirable)
- LF Forklift Licence (required)
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing, supply chain, or logistics roles
- Background in oil & gas, mining, transport, or related industries preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems and transport booking software (SAP advantageous)
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility legislation
