Warehouse Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador
Contract Length: 6 Months
Schedule: Part-Time, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Position Summary

• The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves shipping and receiving activities, inventory handling, material movement, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. The successful candidate will be physically capable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend work instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Communicate clearly using basic written communication skills
• Apply basic mathematical concepts for inventory counts and documentation
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and warehouse systems
• Perform duties in a fast-paced and noisy warehouse environment
• Maintain constant movement while completing assigned tasks
• Regularly lift and/or move items up to 20 lbs and frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs
• Safely operate a forklift while loading and unloading freight
• Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant warehouse experience required
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, or inventory roles preferred
• Forklift and Overhead Crane certification preferred
• Prior experience using SAP is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced and physically demanding warehouse setting
• Repetitive movement, standing, lifting, and carrying required
• Must be capable of safely operating material-handling equipment
