Workshop Technician x 2

We are seeking a 2 x Workshop Technicians in Henderson, Western Australia on 12 month contracts to join a high-performing team supporting the maintenance, servicing, and testing of specialised subsea oilfield equipment.

This hands-on role will see you working across mechanical and hydraulic scopes, with occasional electrical work, supporting both client-owned and rental equipment in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute service orders including inspection, servicing, maintenance, and preservation of subsea equipment
• Perform mechanical fitting, hydraulic flushing, function testing, and equipment assembly
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including inspection reports and test records  
• Operate workshop equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
• Ensure workshop is organised, safe, and prepared for ongoing work activities
• Support ad hoc tasks as required by the Workshop Supervisor

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate
• Forklift Licence
• Rigging/Dogging Licence (desirable)
• Working at Heights & EWP tickets (advantageous)

Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in a workshop environment (mechanical and/or hydraulic)
• Experience with oil & gas or subsea equipment is highly desirable
• Exposure to drilling, well completions, or controls equipment preferred
• Experience operating overhead or gantry cranes
• Strong focus on safe workshop practices and procedures
